The earliest information found so far is a news paper clipping from 1937. The article states that the club was taking a break due to the second world war.
Throughout the 1960?s the club held national photographic competitions in conjunction with the Castlemaine Art Gallery. We still have some programs and images that were entered into these competitions.
The club has had it’s ups and downs over time but thrives today because of it’s dedicated members and fun approach to photography.
